For soothing heat, microwave the pack in a microwavable container covered with water on medium power in 30-second intervals until it reaches your desired warmth. Alternatively, soak it in hot water at 80-90 C (170-190 F) for 3-5 minutes. For a refreshing cold compress, simply place the pack in the freezer for 2 hours.
